We used to come here all the time when we lived in Alabama. After being away for 2 and a half years, it's still one of the best restaurants we've been to. They changed their short rib recipe a bit. It's still divine, but we prefer the old recipe
Incredible experience with Cece on the evening of July 26th! I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. From the service to the ambiance to the perfectly curated menu… absolutely in love with this place! The gas lanterns on the wall and the stunning flower arrangement in the center made for a beautiful setting. The huge light fixtures above us had the perfect amount of light that was calm and not too bright. The staff is so pleasant and makes sure that everything is well cared for. The bartender made a virgin Bloody Mary and it wasn’t an issue which I have ran into in the past at other places I’ve visited. They were very accommodating to anyone with a food allergy. I had the pork tenderloin with a strawberry sauce that was beyond delicious. My sister had the lamb and my dad had the teres major. We had the best desserts here and the presentation for every single plate was top notch. I’ve eaten at Michelin Star restaurants and truly this presentation is up there with the best! You will not be disappointed in your experience here. 12/10
Very nice location for a date, or even walk in for a great craft meal/drinks. Fantastic value, the ambiance is very nice, great music, very upscale while not feeling pretentious. Ericka was our waitress, she was very attentive, polite, personable and wasn't over bearing. If you need a good restaurant in this town This is it. Drinks are appropriately priced, entrees and appetizers are also very good while being priced appropriately. Would definitely come back.
Great dining spot just across my hotel downtown. Vibes were great. Dark and warm at the same time: Made a reservation for 530 pm on a Wednesday and it was fairly quiet. I would expect it to be busier on a weekend night. My waiter (sorry didn’t catch name) was fantastic. Food was all solid - beef short rib and side of Brussels. It had me full but not in a gross way. Flavors were all on point. Also had a strawberry mocktail that was great - shout out bartender! Go eat here if you are in town.

We hosted my husband’s retirement dinner here, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The event space was beautiful, well organized, and comfortably accommodated our group. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening special — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent and arrived on time, which made the entire night run smoothly. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the atmosphere and service. It was the perfect place to celebrate such an important milestone, and the team made it stress-free and memorable for our entire family. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special event or celebration. We will definitely be back!!
I always enjoy coming to Central, and this visit was no different. Our server, Ethan, was excellent very knowledgeable about the menu and great at guiding recommendations. Even though I was already familiar with a lot of the dishes, he helped compare options in a way that made trying something new easy. I went with the duck leg this time definitely different, but still really good. I’m still partial to the lamb, but I’m glad I switched it up. The port cabbage paired perfectly with the dish and really brought everything together. Great food, great service. I’ll be back as always :)
After running the 51 mile relay race, my team and I and decided to come here to celebrate—and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were taken by how beautiful the restaurant is. The decor has such a thoughtful, aesthetic vibe—elegant but still warm and inviting, which made it the perfect place to relax after a long run. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they really care about the experience they’re creating. Now let’s talk about the food… out of this world. I ordered the char sui duck, and wow—the glaze on that duck was perfection. It had this light, sweet coating that complemented the rich flavor of the duck so well without overpowering it. Paired with the noodles and cabbage, it was an incredible dish—every bite just hit right. Overall, such a great experience. Beautiful space, wonderful people, and unforgettable food. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
This is the best restaurant in Montgomery. How is there not a Michelin star assigned yet? Spend the cash and get the ribeye, it's to die for and you will not leave hungry. The coconut grits as a side topped it off. I've tried a lot of dishes here and have never had a bad meal, everything has been phenomenal!
